What restaurant in Mobile is today up to the challenge to surpass what was offered by a 1857 Menu by the Battle House in Mobile. The images posted speak for themselves.

 Try to get today some of the 12"Claret" or 18 Sherry varieties ... even by the glass.
From the Menu, seems our ancestors dined quite well!
It also seems that in 1857 Mobile was more French than today - Wine was not considered a "poison" as it was later.
